I am taking part in the Night Shine Walk in London on Saturday 23rd September starting at 19:30, which should take about 4-5 hours to complete.

Please help me by getting behind this fantastic event!

Earlier this year my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and underwent many weeks of radiotherapy.

I can’t even begin to imagine what he must have gone through mentally when he was given the news. I can’t even try to guess what it is like going in each day to receive treatment.

What I can do is be a part of something that aims to ensure we keep helping those who suffer. Not just those who suffer but their loved ones too. Help to keep researching ways to treat cancer and work to improve the quality of life of those going through the battle each day.

I would like to be part of a team to raise awareness and funds to help those that, who after battling through intensive therapy treatments, continue the torment of surgery and further recovery, and help contribute to the medical cost of these.

I heard of this Shine walk and thought what a great way for people to get together and share experiences, but also to do something for their loved ones!

Thank you so much in advance for anything you can give!!
