Cate’s Shine Walk 2017

I'm doing the London Shine Walk, with a group of Cancer Ninjas, to raise money for Cancer Research UK and help find a cure for this awful disease.
Raising funds for: Shine Walk Parent Campaign
1,199.26% Raised
£8,994.46 raised of £750.00 goal of which £296.60 was Gift Aid
50 Donations
Campaign has ended

On the night of 23rd September, I’ll be completing the London Shine Walk, a half marathon around the “The Big Smoke” in the middle of the night!  Any money I raise will be matched by my employer, so please support me in raising as much as I possibly can.

Last year our lovely friend, Sharon, lost her battle with cancer and her husband Mike has set up Cancer Ninjas to raise money to help find a cure for this awful disease.  Sharon always brought the sunshine with her, despite how she must have been feeling inside.  The first time I met Sharon she was selling cakes at a Macmillan charity coffee morning, despite receiving chemo at the time.

Each year Cancer Research UK gets closer to beating cancer and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.  Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.

I’d be so grateful if you would click on the link to donate.   Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work.  Donating through this page is simple, fast and secure.  And remember for every £1 you donate, with Microsoft’s matching, Cancer Research UK will receive £2.

Thanks so much

Cate

Pace yourself Cate. When you’re 75% done, despite what they say, a boost of sugar (in the form of a flapjack) is never a good idea!! A banana however works a treat. Enjoy London at night when it’s quiet(er)!
