Microsoft UK and Cancer Ninjas Present: The Microsoft UK Partner Championship
It’s back, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Microsoft UK and Cancer Ninjas would like to invite you to this unique opportunity to step out onto the world class, historic pitch at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic FC, as we bid to raise much-needed funds for Cancer Research UK!
What you can expect at the tournament:
For a minimum fundraising target of £5,000 per team*, entering the tournament gets you the chance to immerse yourself in the world-class, ex-Premiership facilities at Charlton Athletic FC, home of the Addicks.
You’ll be following in the footsteps of many famous names by taking to the iconic 'Valley' pitch.
The format will be mixed gender (all are welcome!) 7 a-side matches, with group games followed by knockout matches before we crown a winner. The day promises to be full of fun, networking and competition for all and we’d love for you to be involved.
Plan for the day:
- Date: Monday 2nd June 2025
- Time: Exact times are TBC, but the event will be taking place during the working day
- Venue: Charlton Athletic FC, The Valley, Floyd Road, Charlton, SE7 9BL
- Suggested number of players per team: 10-12
- Number of participating teams/organisations: 16
- 62-cap England legend Emile Heskey, scorer of over 100 premiership goals, will be making a playing guest appearance for the team with the highest fundraising and will be on hand to take photos and sign merchandise
- Catering: TBA
- Free parking and nearby underground links
- Bag drop area
- Quiet areas if you need to work or take calls
- Official photographer to capture the most amazing instagrammable moments!
There are also sponsorship opportunities available including your company name & logo on the pitch side big screen and stadium TV's, including the main bar and lounge area – it’s not often you get the chance to exhibit your brand at an iconic ex-Premiership ground!

Once your team place has been confirmed by Microsoft please set up your fundraising page on the Cancer Ninjas website.
To set up your fundraising page please either login to your account to create a new event if you are a returning fundraiser, or if you are new to Cancer Ninjas please register a new account, both of these options are available by using this link https://www.cancerninjas.com/login
Once logged in you we will be able to 'create a new campaign' from your Ninjas dashboard. Helpful instructions are also available from your dashboard.
Whilst setting up your fundraising page, please select the category "The Microsoft UK Partner Championship 2025" so as you join the other tournament teams in the overall fundraising total as well as your own.
Once your campaign is live you will then see your team appear alongside other teams on the individual team tiles at the bottom of this main event page.
