World Cancer Day Sunday 4th February 2018

World Cancer Day is a day to unite in the fight against cancer. Every Unity Band worn, every pound donated and every gesture of support, will play an important part in beating cancer sooner.
£7,048.93 raised of which £50.50 was Gift Aid
91 Donations

We are fundraising for World Cancer Day through a variety of activities:

  • Sales of World Cancer Day Unity Bands through the placement of boxes of bands in numerous corporate and retail locations.
  • Sales of World Cancer Day Unity Biscuits courtesy of Teacups & Tandems in several corporate and CRUK retail outlets.
  • In house corporate World Cancer Day events.
  • Direct collections in partnership with various Tesco’s stores on Saturday 20th January.

If you too could place a box of 50 Unity Bands (as in the picture below) in a busy office, school, club, retail outlet etc where you can be confident of being able to ‘sell’ out the box or help us in a Tesco’s store, please do contact us as soon as you can. Your help would be hugely appreciated!

The Unity Bands ‘sell’ for a suggested donation of just £2 each, and all proceeds got to Cancer Ninjas in aid of Cancer Research UK. The band box contains an integral money container for the donations.

We aim to deliver or post these boxes of Unity Bands out to our fellow Ninjas for the middle of January.

There is no upfront cost to the box of bands, but we do need to ensure a location with good footfall and an abundance of enthusiasm!

As always, we are grateful for your support for this great campaign, which not only raises vital funding, but also creates critical cancer awareness.

Please note the sale of Unity Bands and Unity Biscuits are not applicable for Gift Aid so please only tick the Gift Aid option if your are kindly making a straight donation and not in exchange for any product or service. Thank you.
