Myself (Louise) and my 2 children Alex(15) and Charlotte(13), together with loads of friendly Cancer Ninja's, are walking through London at night on 23rd September to raise funds to beat Cancer.

Louise, Alex and Charlotte will be joining many of our Cancer Ninja friends to walk through London at night to raise money for Cancer Research UK on Saturday 23rd September. Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking research is finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Cancer unfortunately touches far too many lives, and our family is no stranger to the impact it can have. Bowel Cancer has unfortunately struck our family on far too many occasions. The risk of developing bowel cancer is higher in people who have a family history of bowel cancer which can be caused by an inherited gene change.

Bowel cancer survival is improving and has more than doubled in the last 40 years in the UK. In the 1970s, about a fifth of people diagnosed with bowel cancer survived their disease beyond ten years, now it’s almost 6 in 10. Lets help improve those statistics further by raising funds to support Cancer Research UK.
