O’Hanlon Gang’s Shine Walk September 2017

The O'Hanlon Gang are walking through London at night to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer in particular. In honor of our beautiful friend Sharon, who sadly left an empty space in our lives on the 18th of December 2016.

On Saturday 23rd September 2017 there are 4 of us joining a larger Cancer Ninja group of over 100 volunteers, Vince, Irené, Lula (14) and Rubén (13) our youngest Ninja!

Breast cancer:- With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although it is rare, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

HALF MARATHON NIGHT WALK – A half marathon is 13.1 miles or about 21 kilometres. That’s like walking almost 50 times around the circumference of the London Eye.

Starting: 7.30pm Southwark Park – London – Finishing: Old Billingsgate – London

    Hope you smash it!! A close friend of ours beat it only to find she now has to battle a brain tumor. Great cause and am sure the evening will be fun, did a similar thing in Oxford last year for the hospice. Steve
